What can I customize on my keyboard?

WASD Keyboards allows you to pick and choose your keycap coloring for each individual key. You can keep them blank or mark them with text or graphics. Text size, font type, alignment, etc is all customizable. If there is something you want and you can't configure it online, please let us know and we will try our best to assist.

Can I request new graphics or fonts?

Yes, custom images may be added to any custom order. This includes custom keyboards, semi-custom keyboards, custom keycap sets, and individual custom keys. Add the item to your cart to upload your image. There is a $5 fee per image. Custom fonts can only be used when you upload your own layout file using our provided template files. Before you send your file, please convert all text to shapes so the font files are not needed.

Will my custom keyboard or keycap set come with raised notches for the home keys?

Yes, all keyboards and keycap sets with home row keys will use a raised line on the F and J keys and a raised dot on the number pad 5 key. This is in reference to the position of the key. Alternate layouts such as Dvorak and Colemak will have the home keys in the proper positions.

How can I place an order?

For parts and accessories, we can take orders online or by phone. For custom keyboards, we do prefer the user to purchase through the website. If you need assistance, we can provide assistance over the phone and via online meetings. If you wish to order your custom keyboard over the phone, you will need to create the keyboard online and provide us the unique URL so we can reference it with your order.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Local pickup is available by selecting the Local Pickup option. Custom orders are ready within 2-3 days and parts orders will usually be ready the same day if placed before 4PM PST. Pickups will need to be at our office at 392 S Abbott Ave, Milpitas, CA 95035. We will email you when your order is ready for pickup.

Are there discounts for bulk orders?

Yes. Please contact us using the contact form on the Contact Us page for more information. Aside from bulk corporate and educational orders, we will also help with any gaming organization. Ask us about getting your team logo engraved into the keyboard frame!

How can I make changes or cancel my order?

You will need to contact us via email by replying to your order confirmation email or give us a call at (877) 860-6991 and dial extension 2. Changes and cancellation can be made as long as the order has not been shipped.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Custom keyboard orders will generally take 2-3 business days to assemble. Semi-Custom keyboards are usually shipped within 1 business day. Orders for blank keys and parts can usually ship the same day if the order is received before 4PM PST.

Do you provide international shipping?

Yes, we offer international shipping methods from USPS. This includes First Class Mail International, Priority Mail International, and Express Mail International (EMS). Please note that First Class Mail International does not offer any package tracking. You will only be provided with a package reference number. Also, depending on your purchase and your countries import laws, you may need to pay additional fees and/or taxes to customs. This will be charged directly to you from the appropriate organization in your country. For more information, please contact your local post office about purchasing merchandise from United States. We will not falsify information on your customs information, so do not ask.

Where can I check my order status?

Sign into your My Account page. Your account Dashboard will show your recent orders and the status. If you checked out as a guest, you will need to wait for automated emails updates that are sent out when your order is shipped. If you do not receive any updates within 2-3 business days, feel free to contact us for an update.

Can I return my purchase?

Parts and accessories can be returned anytime within 30 days of shipping as long as they are in unused condition. Custom keyboards will have a 25% restocking fee. Semi-custom keyboards can be returned with a 10% restocking fee. Custom engraved keycaps and keyboard cases cannot be returned. Any custom work such as custom art, fonts, etc are non-refundable.

There is a problem with my order. Who do I contact?

Please reply to the order confirmation email or send us a request using our contact form. Please include your order number if you are using the online form. We will reply promptly and make sure all issues are addressed.

Does my custom keyboard carry a warranty and for how long?

Yes, all WASD Keyboards have a 1 year warranty from the date of shipment. The warranty covers any mechanical or electrical defect in the keyboard, such as a switch failing prematurely.
