Awesome Keyboard Review by FPM Michael

I am in love with this keyboard. I had been using a mushy Apple KB for so long that I forgot what it was like to have a solid, click KB again.
Took me less than a week to get so used to this that I dred going onto my wife's Mac now.

I love it Review by Jake

This keyboard came out exactly as I designed and it looks cool as heck. I love the way it feels to type on it. It's everything I had envisioned and more. The only con is that now I just want to buy more mechanical keyboards through WASD so I'm going to have to take out a second mortgage. (Posted on 8/6/17)
Perfect for a Dvorak User Review by Jeff R.
Rating
I bought a WASD keyboard for its dip switches that allow me to have the keyboard in a hardware Dvorak mode, and I'm very pleased with how it works. I no longer have to mess around with Windows' or Linux's keyboard layout options, or type in QWERTY until I get past the login screen (on Windows). Oh, and I save a bunch of time when making remote desktop connections to machines — as I no longer have to edit their keyboard layout settings either.

I got MX Blacks with the 0.4mm sound dampeners. Coming from membrane keyboards all my life, it was an easy transition. The WASD keyboard is just a little bit quieter than some of the membrane keyboards I was using, and isn't loud or annoying (which is something I feared because of a coworker that had MX Blue switches that drove me nuts).

There was a bit of an issue with my item being shipped on time, but that's because I chose "modern" on the options after selecting a Dvorak layout, thinking that "modern" just applied to how the key printing was organized and not defaulting to a QWERTY layout. But I was glad to find that the support representatives for WASD keyboards are friendly and helpful. They told me what was wrong and got it sorted out very quickly. They even refunded me my shipping costs, which I thought was awesome!

My only recommendation is to maybe get a better USB A to USB B (micro) cable. The one that's included is great and sturdy, but I like some of the nicer braided cables from Anker.

Overall, I would buy another keyboard from WASD keyboards in a heartbeat if I needed one. (Posted on 8/4/17)
Everything it's cracked up to be! Review by moods

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I have to say I'm super impressed. I was a little skeptical given the financial outlay but after a few hours I'm 100% happy with my purchase and then some.

With the flick of a couple of switches, everything just worked right out of the box on my Mac set-up. I was initially drawn to WASD due to the fact they cater to Mac (and options did seem a little limited in the mechanical keyboard world) but I honestly don't think I could have found a better product anywhere.

Also really impressed with the delivery time, I live in New Zealand and the keyboard arrived in two and a bit working days. Pretty amazing for a customised product shipped half way across the world.

AMAZING keyboard Review by Chad

I never thought I'd refer to a keyboard as amazing, but here I am. V2, Cherry MX Clears, 0.4mm spacers. I purchased the MX switch tester before making such a large investment, and was glad I did. Plus the tester is a great desktop toy. I wanted the tactile feel, but not the click. This keyboard is SOLID. Not sure how much they weigh, but gotta be a few pounds. It doesn't move around at all no matter how hard you bang away on it. I now look for reasons to type. Hardest part is the customization of your keys, you can toil over that forever! Solid investment, worth the $200, surely to last for years to come. Everyone that has seen it thinks it is too cool. (Posted on 7/25/17)

Great to have a simple colored keyboard Review by Drwho5

This keyboard works great for internet games by using colors. WASD or arrow keys are the same color. Also other keys were made by a different color. Mine was simple custom, yet did not have to be much more expensive than the base model and with the add-ons. Great for playing a simple internet free game in the night time (when I feel like playing).

Utilitarianly Elegant Review by You may call me Mr. Joshua

I require a full-sized keyboard for the office. Because of a heavy hand, I decided to try out the cherry greens this time. The "clack-icity" is of the same distinction as the cherry blues (audible click and simultaneous tactile bump,) with the very crisp, and heavily responsive reset expected from the green switches.

The nondescript black plastic case is hefty and resists smudges and fingerprints. I really appreciate the wire corridors that route USB on your preferred side and the big rubber feet included assures I don’t push the machine around my desk.

With no lighting except the three, tiny red LED’s in the upper right corner, this keyboard caters to my aesthetic requirement of a subdued desktop.

I’m only giving four stars on this review as I would like to see an aluminum case option. Even and after market option is "do-able." Other than that this keeb is highly recmended.

Excellent Keyboard => as close as possible to an IBM Model M Review by mcjwj

Excellent keyboard, key size, key motion, key resistance, (Cherry MX Green) and I believe the closest one will find to an IBM Model M. The WASD keyboard purchased is for my Mac Pro 5,1, since my IBM Model M, 1988, does not have a Command-Key. My IBM works very well on a 2017 Dell,XPS,W.10. Both keyboards are very similar in feel, use, weight, touch and key size. WASD's service and delivery was as advertised and on time. The Cherry MX Green keys may be too noisy for an office of more than one person. I did not have any dampers installed; nor, are any planned in the future. (Posted on 7/17/17)
