I've bought this keyboard and it came with some kinda "defect" that some keys got like "sticky". Customer service thought I through some liquids on it but that wasn't the case.
It's kinda annoying that you spend almost 200 euro in a keyboard and it came like this but CS sent me some cherry switches and taught me how to replace them.
Next time please, put a support aera on Europe so send cost can be less! (Posted on 4/11/18)
I had a Rosewill Cherry Blue at home, and a WASD Cherry Green at work. My girlfriend started complaining about the sound of the Blues, and I figured the green would have the same problems. I tried the Cherry Browns, but definitely not the feel I want. I would say the clears are NOT the blues, but definitely as close as you can come and still be able to type while your SO sleeps on the couch! May consider getting a board to take to work if complaints ever surface about the sounds of the greens! (Posted on 12/26/17)
This keyboard is as good as promised. The tactile feedback is already helping just a few days into using it. I find it easier to type quickly and accurately. Definitely my keyboard of choice for work. (Posted on 11/19/17)
Just read all of the other reviews because I would make most of the same points
Except for one small problem I guess, when I took off the number pad plus key the plastic holding the stabilization bar broke off but I just used super glue and it was good (Posted on 9/12/17)
I have tried multiple brands of mechanical keyboards from some of the top gaming companies and none of them beat the CODE 104. The stay put feet and perfect incline level are awesome. The MX Clear switches are a hard hitting typists dream come true. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who types for a living and has a heavy hand. I also love the fact that I do not have to have any software running on my machine. Just plug in and go...perfect! (Posted on 9/7/17)
A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away, IBM made a magical keyboard for the original PC. The thing was astonishing for how well you were able to type on it and it was a tank; it took a licking and kept on clicking. Since becoming a professional typist - I mean programmer - I've been trying to find a suitable replacement. The search is over. This keyboard not only met my expectations but exceeded them. Typing is an absolute joy on this. If you worship at the altar of emacs, the ability to put the ctrl-key where god intended it is nothing short of miraculous. Use a mac? Flip a switch and your command keys are where they belong next to the space bar. Built like a tank - by far it's the heaviest keyboard I've ever owned and that's an asset. Oh and the LED lighting is nice too.
WASD customer service is top notch. The dip switches on the first keyboard borked and WASD replaced it without issue after a pleasant email conversation where we tried to work through the problem.

I bought my original CODE because I liked the simpler aesthetic and because I was curious how clear switches felt. I am consistently amazed at how hard it is to find the combination of clear switches with white led backlighting (or clear switches anywhere but from WASD, for that matter). I absolutely fell in love with both the switches and the keyboard itself and was rather... displeased when I fatally removed the mini-USB cable in such a way that rendered the keyboard unusable. Short version, I ripped the USB connector loose from the PCB, somehow, and voided my warranty hunting for the means to disassemble the keyboard to see if I could fix it.
I bought several less expensive attempted replacements (all with browns) and simply put, nothing matches the feel of these keys under my fingers. I opted to add the O-rings this time, as I am still a heavy typer (I constantly double enter and bottom out browns, and on one even broke a couple of O-rings accidentally), and there is simply nothing I would rather use. I will likely be ordering a second (and possibly third), just to ensure I have more and back up keyboards available.
Oh, and the first thing I did upon unboxing this one was to add a piece of tape to give me an audible cue I am moving to the limit of my cable. (Posted on 8/31/17)
