Got my custom keyboard just the other day and I love it so far. The custom colored caps are great - though the gray caps were lighter than expected, and the red caps on the orange side.
My only issue is the price - I get that it's for the custom caps, but it's about the same price if I got blanks. Solid keyboard, but I could have received the same quality for a lower cost elsewhere.
Shipping was really quite expensive - I did pay more because I did not want to wait the 5-7 days before it even shipped. They were able to get it out the door the same day I upgraded my shipping, which was great, but the fact that it would have taken 5-7 days if I didn't upgrade to the most expensive shipping option was a bummer.
In all, great keyboard but at too great a cost. (Posted on 1/17/17)
I have order this keyboard before, but this time I created one with some custom graphics as a gift. The service was great and even accommodated me when my svg file was too large for them to open. Keyboard performs well; the black switches are a little stiff for my taste, but hopefully the person that I bought it for will like it.
The only downside I would say is that even with vector images, a couple of the graphics came out a little blurry. (edges looked smeared). Not sure if it's just due to the fidelity of the printer? (Other images with more detail look sharper), or maybe something to do with the color of the graphic on the color of the keycap (light blue on white keycap).
Overall great experience, high customizability, and soild product! Highly recommend as a first step into mechanical keyboard with wide array of options! (Posted on 1/13/17)
The keyboard is solid, no movement or faulty keys. I was looking for red key caps with key cap colored lettering to give a raised/semi stealth effect. The red lettering appears to be printed over white lettering. This gives a white ghosting effect. Not sure if this is the case on all colored text, but as the lettering is not perfectly aligned over the white lettering it's more apparent on some keys. If I did it over I would get full stealth keys with no lettering. (Posted on 1/9/17)
If you are someone who uses their keyboard all the time and have been thinking about upgrading to a mechanical, you have to get one of these. I have gotten several keyboards from various companies, and none of them have matched up to this. So much customization, any switch you want, you can't go wrong. Easily one of the best companies for keyboards on the market. (Posted on 1/5/17)
WASD and Filco are my top 2 mechanical keyboard (both 87).
WASD is better on plugged cable, custom color keycap.
Filco is better (just a tiny) on feeling of touch.
Conclusion: Love WASD a little more ! (Posted on 1/4/17)
Great product, in functionality and style. Superb customization, and there are just enough you tube videos to give a round about idea of what you decide. However, the clickiness is a bit annoying. To give an example, in comparison to the razer sounding like nails on glass (click, click, clicking away), this keyboard immolates nails on wood (there's still a click, but it's a little softer). This keyboard is with all the sound dampeners, except the O-rings. (Posted on 12/31/16)
- Colours came out exactly as I selected in the creator.
- Blue switches mostly feel great.
- With blue travel reduction the typing feels light and easy.
- Space key does not return to resting position properly, preventing the switch from clicking on the next press which gets distracting while typing.
- Space key feels too stiff for blue switches and sometimes sticks.
- Even with blue travel / noise reduction the clicks are too loud.
Overall I am pretty happy with this keyboard, it has a very study and professional feeling construction. Apart from the aforementioned issues it is very nice to type with. (Posted on 12/30/16)
