Just buy one already Review by Richard

I'll keep this short and sweet.

Two things I love about this keyboard/company:
1) The keyboard is extremely customizable. You can basically make this keyboard exactly how you want it. From the design to the switches, almost anything is up for customization.
2) WASD's customer service is fantastic. Big shout outs to Thuy and Skyler. They were helpful, friendly, and professional.

Considering how much a quality mechanical keyboard costs (generally around AT LEAST $90, though some go for more than $240), paying $150 to make your keyboard just how you want it is quite reasonable. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I have to assume that you will be too. (Posted on 8/27/17)

WASD is the only place I know where I can get a good keyboard without numpad and with Cyrillic letters to boot. I'm not a carzy fan of mechanical keyboard per se. I'm used to notebook-like keyboorad and I have an Apple keyboard. It's good, but arrow keys are not good enough. So I decided to give a shot at mechanical keyboards.

Overall I'm satisfied (well, maybe MOD-L 45g switches are a little too light... will try Cherry Clear next time I think), the keyboard works. But I was somewhat disappointed with quality of WASD work. It's supposed to be impeccable premium service, right? Then why one of the white keys is not so white but yellowish? Why on one of the sides of the keyboard the top and bottom parts are not fixed together and wobbly? None of these issues affects typing but, you know, affects impression. Hence only 4 starts.

Phenomenal Review by Aaron

It gives me a reason to wake up in the mornings, get to work to get typing! This is my first mech keyboard and I love it. Cherry MX Blues, 2mm dampeners, custom colors, and custom keycap legend design. It has a satisfying click with no clacks, a great feel, solid construction, and their work on the custom printing is perfect. I'm beyond pleased. This keyboard will last me for years to come. I may only get a new one when the V3 line is released!

WASD's customer service is great. Both times I used the chat feature on the website, I got helpful, informative responses with seconds.

For mac users, I had printed on my Function keys the mac hotkeys for volume control, screen brightness, etc. Out of the box, those keys did not map like expected, but no worries. There is an open source project Karabiner that allows you to finely control key bindings: https://github.com/tekezo/Karabiner-Elements/blob/master/README.md

As of 2017-08-25, under Project Status, you can download the latest dmg. Install it and you can control all your key bindings.

To wrap up, great product! Thanks WASD!

PS: Final thought: I almost never write product reviews. For me, that I took the time to write this one speaks volumes about the product. Plus, it's a pleasure to type it on my custom V2 keyboard! (Posted on 8/25/17)
A joy to type on Review by Joe

This keyboard makes me want to stay at work late so I can keep typing. (Posted on 8/16/17)

This is the cure to workplace RSIs. I can't install Colemak at work because it requires admin privileges, so the hardware Colemak is a must have, and it's surprising how much of a difference the tenkeyless layout makes--I can keep the home row centred without having to reach uncomfortably right for the mouse. Really, if you have a job that requires enough typing to induce pain on a cheapy $10 keyboard, there is no substitute. I have four of these now, to make sure I never have to use a chintzy 101-key qwerty again (Posted on 8/8/17)
Beautiful keyboard Review by drfaustus

Exactly as I expected it to be. Typing is incredibly nice, build quality is very good. I ordered it with a red custom sleeved micro usb cable which looks stunning. The only thing is that the plastic right next to the space bar tends to bend a bit when you touch it (Which rarely happens, but it doesn't feel as qualitative as the rest of the keyboard). Maybe you should support that plastic part somehow. (Posted on 8/3/17)

I used one of these at my colleagues desk while he was away and fell in love with it. Got one for myself and am equally as pleased.
I like the Cherry MX Browns for typing and the lack of 10 key set makes it less of a reach for my mouse. Customizing the colors/keycaps was fun too. (Posted on 8/1/17)
Silent Reds Are Awesome Review by 00jknight

I started looking for a quiet gaming keyboard to replace my Razer Blackwidow keyboard, since I found it way too loud now that I live with my girlfriend.

I couldn't find a keyboard that fit my exact desires: silent (or at least quiet), 10 key less, mechanical (or at least very good membrane).

I found that the the topre switches would likely fit my needs, but they are hard to find and very expensive.

I found this website and was delighted that you can customize so much.

I ended buying a 87key custom with blank keycaps in the silent red switch format.

They are truly silent, they feel like typing on a cloud. They are awesome and I couldnt imagine using a loud, annoying, keyboard again! (Posted on 7/26/17)
Excellent Product, but not exactly what I asked for Review by Mark

I ordered a keyboard with a semi-specific design, including centered keys with white-priority letters. I also asked for the symbols + media on the function keys.

However, the board I got had all blanks except for the 'F' keys and the function keys were only symbols (no media).

I'm not too mad about it though because I'm better at typing on blanks than I thought I would be (still struggling with the number row, though) and it probably looks better with the blanks.

I also learned which keys do what media function pretty quick so that's not a huge issue either.

Even though I am very happy with the board I ended up with, it kinda sucks that they didn't give me what I originally paid for, so that's why I'm giving 4 stars and not 5.

After using an ergonomically unfriendly Apple keyboard for several months, I decided to jump into the mechanical keyboard camp. I couldn't be happier. I program for a living and typing on my WASD 87-key keyboard is a night and day improvement. Based on research, I decided to go with Cherry clears and it was definitely the right choice for me.
