So glad to have it Review by Chris Lagasse

I have been loving my keyboard. My only problems with it are similarly shared by a couple other reviewers: Due to its backlight nature, there are not a lot of viable options for replacement keys.

As I have OSX, I would love to get the Media Keys to replace my Function ones, however, without a backlight option for the set, I ended up not making the purchase.

I am used to bottoming out on my keys, and I actually wanted to get the Cherry MX Red, initially, due to this bottoming out habit. That said, since I got this keyboard in Cherry MX Brown, I noticed that I actually type far lighter, and I'm actually thankful for the tactile feedback, as it controls my pressure far more.

My coworker just picked up a fully-custom WASD keyboard with Cherry MX Brown, so I'll be curious how it compares. :) (Posted on 10/10/16)
Good keys, but lacks polish Review by marhls

Key action is good and distinct which is the main reason I purchased, but the clicking is loud and annoying so I will need to buy the dampeners.
The LED backlight is good, but alternative keys are not available in the same style so I can't customise as though for the UK region e.g. [2"] [3£] etc.
Overall construction is solid, a little heavy but with good feet.
The plastic case feels VERY cheap though, there is even a nasty moulding 'scar' on the front edge right where I rest my thumb which is disappointing considering how much this keyboard cost.

**REPLY FROM WASD: We apologize that you are not happy with the case. It sounds like you may have a defective one that slipped through the factory QC. If you can send us a picture we should be able to send you a replacement case.** (Posted on 9/3/16)
A little too bouncy Review by Lester B

I grew up on Model M and similar keyboards. This is close, but a little lighter touch and bouncy. I had the heavier Cherry MX Green for a while, but that required too much force and felt more tiring than the old mechanical keyboards.

I like this better, but not as good as the old mechanicals. I end up slipping from key to key a little too easily, and making more typos than I used to. I should probably try the Cherry MX Blue, same weight as Brown but with the click. (Posted on 8/5/16)
Great Keyboard Makes Me Better Review by Chapps

I love the quality of the Cherry MX Brown keys and the keyboard overall, especially the slickness of the keys, which I really enjoy. Overall it helps me type better, not necessarily faster but fewer errors, and that has value. The price is high but that is expected given its quality and I would purchase again without hesitation. Amazing keyboard Review by Illia D

Took me a few days to get used to browns, but now I can't imagine me typing on non-mechanical keyboard. I really like brown switches because there's almost no effort when typing and you still can distinguish the activation point. On the whole CODE keyboard looks strict and feels very comfortable and solid. As for me I'm not using backlight often, but still this option looks very nice. I use keyboard in a working environment so I've also installed red sound dampeners which make it sound much more quieter when bottoming out.
I wish caps and num lock diods were brighter, actually they are a bit dim, so in a daylight you can't really tell whether they are on/off. There was some frustrating metallic noise from keys when bottoming out but it has fully gone in few weeks. (Posted on 6/2/16)
Great Review by Alex

Pros:
+ Solidly built - really heavy
+ Rubber on the bottom is really good at stopping the board from moving around and works on an angle as well
+ Back lighting is excellent - the keys are lit up well and the white base underneath gives a pretty even "glow" around the edges
+ Key font is also excellent - no 'gamer' fonts to be seen
+ looks very professional, can be used in a corporate environment/in front of clients with no stress
+ I like the function/media key layout

Cons:
- Even though I bought a switch tester first (and paid $15 for shipping to Aus...) I can't say I'm a huge fan of the browns. Hopefully I can get used to them as I paid $260 Aud to get this keyboard...
- No code compatible PBT keycaps are available. There are some PBT caps that WASD stock, but some of the keys don't align to the back light properly so they aren't a proper solution.

Other:
+ contrary to some other reviews I have seen the function/media keys on the front (e.g. play, volume up/down etc) are back lit - just not much as normal.

Overall happy with the purchase. (Posted on 4/25/16)
Exactly what I expected and wanted Review by Uncle_Ebenezer

Great product. The LED lighting looks great...especially with the white background behind the keys. The 7 brightness levels are a plus. Nice and heavy build. Now I just need to make sure not to spill anything on it (Posted on 4/21/16)
Very Nice Review by Mike

This is a very nice keyboard. It's solid, looks nice, and works very well. I'm not going to go in-depth on why I like it, but I very much enjoy using this board every day.

Here are my nitpicks:
1. Meh keycaps
2. I don't love the media/fn key layout
3. Cable doesn't stay in the cable guides when moving the board

That said, I'm considering an 87-key version of this, because the backlighting is nice :) (Posted on 4/14/16)
My favorite Mechanical - after some mods Review by [email protected]

Love this keyboard. I plan to own it for a long time. It came out of the box with the spacebar not installed correctly, and after a year the left shift key started sticking. But I fixed both and it's perfect right now.

The might sound like a slight - but I pay a more to tune my piano twice a year (my real favorite keyboard) than I did for this one and much less maintenance.

I guess this is a warning review - plan on owning this thing for many years. (Posted on 2/17/16)
Awesome, totally worth it Review by litgeek

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and I am very happy with my selection. The keyboard has a very nice weight to it and doesn't move at all on my desk, which is really nice. I got the sound dampeners, which do make it quieter when you bottom out, but to be really quiet I still have to learn to touch-type. Since this is my first mechanical keyboard, the pressure needed to actuate the keys really surprised me- because it was so easy. When I do buy a new one, I personally will be going with the clears rather than the browns. A solid (weight and quality wise) keyboard, overall I would strongly recommend. (Posted on 1/26/16)
