Loving my first mechanical keyboard! Review by MechanicalKBnoob
Rating
This is my first mechanical keyboard and I love it. I'm a fan of keyboard shortcuts and keeping my hands centered on the keyboard so I knew a 60% keyboard would be right up my alley. So far I have been impressed with the build quality, programming, and backlight. The first thing I did with the programmable layers was make a home row based number pad (jkl=456) to mainly reassure myself that I could easily match a full sized keyboard's biggest selling point.

I bought this keyboard because the Pok3r RGB was out of stock everywhere I looked. With how much I love this keyboard, I will be moving this one to the office and buying the Pok3r for home use. (Posted on 5/19/17)
Very well built, feature-complete Review by Strosek

The power of a full size keyboard, plus programmable keys make this a little great device. Very easy to carry on a backpack for working outside. The keycaps are thin —a con for some,— soft and light. That makes it very comfortable to write on it for long. (Posted on 4/10/17)
Great keyboard. Love all the little things Review by mirzu

Really solid: Love the build quality. The LEDs are a nice touch, and it offers just enough customization for me to make it perfect.

The only thing I would change: The LED under the spacebar is too bright, and is fully visible under the key. A quick piece of tape fixed it for me, but it would be nice if that wasn' an issue out of the box.

So yeah basically: It's so good I have little tiny things to nit pick. (Posted on 2/28/17)
Small, solid, and excellent Review by stupefaction

I'm well acquainted with the advantages of a compact mechanical keyboard. I own four of the original KBC Poker keyboards and I love them. But now I have a CODE 61-Key Mechanical Keyboard, and I love it even more. The greatest shortcoming of the Pokers is their flimsy build quality. The CODE keyboard is at the opposite end of the quality spectrum. It's solidly built, precise, robust. It's the Porsche of keyboards. (Posted on 2/23/17)
Best computer related purchase in years. Review by PhillyCheese

Very nice. Extremely solid construction. More than quiet enough for a work environment. My first 60% and still getting used to the lack of arrow keys, but it's coming along nicely and I don't regret the purchase at all. I got it to use with my new work MBP and it's way more comfortable to use. (Posted on 2/16/17)
60% is the best Review by TheNest

Coming from a 104 key, I was skeptical. Took a couple of days to get used to but so glad I chose it. I don't use Caps Lock so I changed it to the much needed left hand func option. Build quality is awesome. I also recommend a set of custom printed keycaps. I wasn't fond of the texture on the keycaps that came with it. Too smooth for my taste. (Posted on 11/13/16)

Reclaim your deskspace, an orgasm for you fingertips Review by chiroptera

The small size is great for transportation and recovery of much needed desk space. The keys feel great on pressing. I got the Brown switches and nobody in my office has complained about the noise. The afterglow key backlight is a very nice touch. I haven't explored all the programmable features of the keyboard, but I already have some ideas for it. If you're a minimalist, this is the keyboard for you.

There is only thing I would like to add on this keyboard - an extra Fn key on the left side of the space bar so as to make it easy to use the arrow keys, Home, End, etc. My right hand can get in awkward positions when using these keys. (Posted on 10/2/16)
It's so tiny, so great! Review by beercat

Received my CODE 61-Key last week to use at the office. I am a first time user of the Cherry MX Brown keys, and I did add the sound dampeners to prevent my coworkers from wanting to strangle me (more than they normally do).

The compact size will be perfect to take this thing back and forth between the office, home, and school. Tactile-wise, this thing just feels so great. Typing is once again a pleasure. The dampeners make a huge difference, and although it is louder than most run-of-the-mill keyboards, the sound does not carry outside of my cubicle.

Altogether, I am very pleased with the build quality and general presentation of this keyboard. I have already started playing around with some of the programming functionality, and it can save a ton of time. Very much looking forward to working with this device. (Posted on 7/7/16)
Love the compact size Review by Francois

Ever since I was aware of the 60% size of keyboard, I knew it was going to be the size for me. I did a lot of research and decided to go with the WASD/Pok3r. I had originally planned to go with blue switches, but for the sake of the people in my house changed it to brown. I was not disappointed, the switches are very nice and more quiet. Coming from reds, I make less mistakes with the browns which is nice. As an avid gamer, browns are good enough. I still think reds are better for gaming but browns give an overall better experience.

As for the keyboard, the built quality is amazing, no complaints there. The solid steel backplate gives it a nice weight and coupled with the rubber pads, there is no way that you are going to shift this keyboard while typing or playing games. They only letdown for me is the caps. I really think for the price of they keyboard, WASD could've sold the keyboard with their PBT+POM caps or they could have given the option to upgrade to that for let's say $10 more. There is no blank edition of the CODE 60% so you have to buy it with the current caps and buy the PBT+POM caps separate, which gets a bit expensive.

The keyboard has a lot of programming options, which I'm yet to delve into. I tried some combinations but must have done something wrong since the keyboard just stopped responding. I restarted the PC and all was fine again. I will check some code guides first. Backlighting is also very nice, it has some different modes as well. The keys are designed well for backlight with double characters next to each other instead of below each other, for better results.

One thing is should've bought was the o-rings, since I struggle with bottoming out, I think it should help a bit with the noise. Overall great keyboard and would recommend it to anyone. (Posted on 7/6/16)
