I like the kt, it let me try out the different switches and settle on cherry blue. BUT it is 4 stars because I headr they will be including the clear switches soon and I won't have that one to try. (Posted on 5/15/13)

Great item, the key switches work fine the caps are cool I might even use them on my keyboard when I get it, and the O-Rings were a nice surprise for me. I hadn't heard of them previously but after testing the keys with them I must say I am a fan. Glad I bought it and I would recommend it to people new to mechanical boards like myself. Only thing i'm sad about is the day after I received my kit I heard news about the clear switch being included and thought that would have been cool to test out as well. But there's not much that can be done on that front for me but future purchases rejoice you get an awesome deal well worth all the money! (Posted on 5/15/13)

It is what it is, a bag of key caps of varying colors, and Cherry MX switches. It was great for me as no one I know has a mechanical keyboard I can feel up. You cant beat actually feeling the switches in your fingers to decide what type of switch you want. My only gripe is that it didn't come with a key cap remover. (Posted on 5/14/13)

I mainly wanted a replacement switch, but figured I could also try out the two switches I didn't currently have access to.

The o-rings and keycaps were a nice bonus, might pick up a set of o-rings in the future and now I have some fun colors for my esc and arrow keys! (Posted on 5/13/13)

Attempting to work out which Cherry MX switch type I wanted was made a lot easier by this product. The key-caps may or may not come in handy, but the O-rings will. I'm going to go with brown.

It would be cool if they made a sampler kit designed for backlit keyboards. This took a while to arrive in .au (Posted on 5/13/13)

Preferred switch type is a very personal thing. No amount of reading or video watching will help you make that choice better than this sample pack. O-rings and keycap colors are great to have and mess around with before making your final buying decision.

The only thing that would make this a better product is if the kit came with a miniature board or something to mount the switches in. That would drive up the cost though, and the price of this kit is one of it's attributes. (Posted on 5/8/13)

The keys and rings are all there and it even comes with a broad selection of color keycaps to play with. I wouldn't really use the keycaps since they don't fit my current keyboards well, but they are good to test the switches with.

I'd gladly pay $5 more for a miniature board or something (think like arrow keys) so that the switches could be tested on something instead of having to hold it and try and feel the switches.

Shipping was less than a week, so good speeds. (In United States)

Definitely worth spending $10 to test the four main switches and O-rings with, though. (Posted on 5/4/13)
