These sound dampeners not only reduced the noise of my Blue Cherry switches, but also (in my opinion) improved the tactile action of the keys. Cannot recommend highly enough. (Posted on 5/16/13)

Bought the 40A-R for my new Corsair K70 (MX Cherry Red). Reduces the noise significantly considering that I bottom out my key presses all the time.
I personally do not notice the reduction in travel distance all that much, but that's probably because the MX reds are linear. (Posted on 5/16/13)

As a heavy keyboard hitter I was making a real racket, now the loud clunk has disappeared and my other half can read in peace. Delivery was fast to the UK though got hit with VAT charges and a handling fee costing more than what I had paid for the order :( (Posted on 5/14/13)

installed these on my cherry mx blues to make it a little quieter for the house late at night. in that aspect, these o-rings definitely did that. however, I bought the 40A-L's for the specific reason that I didn't want it to affect the feel of the switches too much. too bad - because my cherry mx blues don't feel the way they used to, and in fact very different. i miss them already, and will probably only use these o-rings when i'm in a situation where sound is an issue, because I can't get over the feel ):

but for the purpose of this review, they do do the job of dampening sound, as my blues are a little less clicky and clacky, and im sure the people at home can appreciate that. (Posted on 5/13/13)

Didn't make any difference with 40A-L on my ducky shine 2 TKL so I put two on each letter and after that I was happy! I had to skip a few F keys and other less important keys to have two rings on each letter but that's alright. Don't be afraid like me to get bigger rings and ruin the feeling because they don't! The O-rings are a great investment! I got the black 50 A-R's for my CM Storm Stealth (Cherry MX Browns) at work, and the sound difference is pretty big.

I had some left over which I put on my Das Keyboard at home,

Now sure why exactly, but I can feel the difference in travel distance much more on the Das than on the CM Storm. I think I'm going to pick up a set of the thinner Red 40 A-L's to replace the rings on the Das, but the Black O-rings on the CM Storm is great!

I order the red, thinner dampeners, and they do what they are supposed to do.

Not so big that they reduce the travel distance, but still big enough to lightly reduce the noise. Easy to install, cheap enough. You still get the clickety feeling that you love with a mechanical keyboard, yet reduce the noise by about 40%. (Posted on 5/8/13)

For the longest time I hesitated about buying a mechanical keyboard due to the insane amount of noise. After finding out about Cherry MX Browns, I started to think differently. It was still noisy, but not clicky. The same friend who got that eventually got red o-rings from WASD and I really liked the keyboard like that, so I got a brown with red o-ring board.

I briefly tried removing the o-rings to see if I liked the feel or sound better without them, and then decided to try the blues. They are absolutely my favorite. The softer landing is great. I h ave a tendency to push far too hard on keys, so I really appreciate the substantially reduced noise. The travel distance is also lower, but not so much lower that I find it really noticeable.

The only con to this product is how long it takes to install. My advice is to use the keycap puller to push them all the way up the keycap shaft rather than putting it on the base of the shaft and pushing the key repeatedly until it travels up. (Posted on 5/8/13)

Fantastico producto, aunque el precio no es barato el resultado es el esperado incluso mucho mejor, gracias a los anillos azules mi mujer ya no me grita mas por culpa del clac clac del teclado mecanico, blackwidow de razer, que va de lujo, pero la edicion de torneo tiene el mecanismo azul y es muy ruidoso, ahora es mucho mas silencioso y el tacto se ha hecho mas comodo e incluso juego mas rapido XD creo yo jajaj gracias!!!
