A coworker turned me on to mechanical switches by handing me his 'old' customized wasd keyboard. After a few months with it, I couldn't use another keyboard. Now I have bought two (work/home) of my own (brown with .2mm dampers) and have given the old one to a new disciple. (Posted on 5/24/13)

As been said previously, it is very difficult to use any other keyboard after purchasing one of the WASD products. Got the Cherry Blue with no spacers...loud as heck and I love it. I work at a job that involves typing all day (unfortunately on company provided keyboards) and I just fantasize about my keyboard at home. If you're having second thoughts about the price, throw them out the window because the products are worth it. Accurate descriptions, fast shipping, great customer support. This is my first venture into the world of mechanical switches but I'm pleased with the overall experience. The keyboard shipped in a timely manner and the customer service I was given after it arrived at my doorstep was nothing short of stellar. There was a slight problem with my the keyboard I received (incorrect customization of colors) but less than 10 minutes after firing off an email to customer service, I received an apology and shortly thereafter a shipment confirmation of the correct keys.

I use this exclusively at work and I've been impressed with the build quality so much that I actually like typing at work again. I do not plan on purchasing another keyboard for quite some time but will definitely recommend WASD to friends in the future. (Posted on 5/22/13)

Browns are pretty good if you light a light and sensitive touch. I wouldn't recommend reds at all after feeling how light browns are. Even with browns there are some accidental key presses from it being so light.

I use it mostly for SC2 and kind of am wishing I went with blacks or blues (prob blues because I want the tactical click), but since there's no where in my area that has display models for mech keyboards I feel I did okay with the browns.

I'd say the browns would be for FPS players that want a tactile click, but don't want to go insane from the WASD keys.

Overall I strongly recommend mech keyboards over regular keyboard, but I've yet to determine if the price is worth it.

Even with the lighter touch than I'd like it's boosted by typing speed ~10%, and I still plan to put some bumps on keys I have a harder time finding. (Posted on 4/17/13)
