CODE 104-Key Mechanical Keyboard - Cherry MX Clear

Product Review (submitted on August 31, 2017):
I bought my original CODE because I liked the simpler aesthetic and because I was curious how clear switches felt. I am consistently amazed at how hard it is to find the combination of clear switches with white led backlighting (or clear switches anywhere but from WASD, for that matter). I absolutely fell in love with both the switches and the keyboard itself and was rather... displeased when I fatally removed the mini-USB cable in such a way that rendered the keyboard unusable. Short version, I ripped the USB connector loose from the PCB, somehow, and voided my warranty hunting for the means to disassemble the keyboard to see if I could fix it.

I bought several less expensive attempted replacements (all with browns) and simply put, nothing matches the feel of these keys under my fingers. I opted to add the O-rings this time, as I am still a heavy typer (I constantly double enter and bottom out browns, and on one even broke a couple of O-rings accidentally), and there is simply nothing I would rather use. I will likely be ordering a second (and possibly third), just to ensure I have more and back up keyboards available.

Oh, and the first thing I did upon unboxing this one was to add a piece of tape to give me an audible cue I am moving to the limit of my cable.
